Replication refers to making CD or DVD from a glass master or stamper. The CDs or DVDs are produced by injection molding process. Since the each disc is an exact replicas of the glass stamper hence the name replication. Most CDs or DVDs you found in music/video store and other shrink-wrapped on-the-shelf software and games are made by replication.

Part of the replication process is the printing of graphics artwork on the CD or DVD surface. There are two kinds of printing processes, namely silkscreen and offset. CD Duplication, DVD Duplication

Duplication is used by the industry to mean copying contents to recordable media such as CD-R or DVD-R. Duplication can be done relatively easily with low cost equipment. Your computer equipped with a CD or DVD burner is considered as a duplication system too.

New Cyberian Systems, Inc. provides fast and reliable duplication service. Your artwork will be inkjet printed on highly glossy 1440 dpi photo quality labels. If your volume is small or you need to have the CDs ASAP, duplication is your best option.

Custom Pre-printed Silkscreen CD-R / DVD-R (Offset too)

Blank media purchased from retail stores usually do not have printing on them. If you need professional looking CDs or DVDs but your contents change frequently, pre-printed media will be your best option.

Your artwork will be printed directly onto the media surface, not by paper labels, but by silkscreen or offset printing process. Silkscreen is good for simple artwork such as logo and text. When you have new contents, just burn them onto the media with your CD or DVD writer or tower.
